The information on this website is for general educational purposes only and is not legal, tax, investment or medical advice. A life settlement or viatical settlement is not suitable for everyone. Eligibility, offers and terms depend on the specific policy, the insured's circumstances and applicable state requirements, and no outcome is guaranteed. Life settlement investments carry risk, and no returns are guaranteed.

Selling a life insurance policy ends the coverage it provides and may affect your taxes, your creditors' rights and your eligibility for certain public assistance programs. Before deciding, consider all available options and consult your own tax, legal and financial advisors.
